What Pulsekin is
Pulsekin records readings you take yourself with your own equipment and shows them back to you. Where it labels a reading — "Stage 1", "In range" — it is describing where your number falls against a published guideline you selected. That label is not a diagnosis, and a single home reading cannot establish one.
Your responsibilities
- Enter readings accurately. Everything the app shows is derived from what you typed.
- Follow your own clinician's guidance over anything shown here.
- Seek urgent care for symptoms that need it, whatever the app displays.
- Only share a profile with someone you intend to give access to.
Accounts
An account is optional and only needed for sync or family sharing. You are responsible for the security of the email account or Apple or Google account you sign in with, since those are what grant access to your readings.
Subscriptions
Pulsekin is free to use for unlimited readings on one profile. Premium features are sold as a yearly subscription or a one-off lifetime purchase through the App Store or Google Play, and billing, renewals, and refunds are handled by them under their terms.
Availability
The app is designed to work offline, so it keeps working if our servers do not. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the sync service, and we recommend exporting a copy of your readings periodically if they matter to you.
Liability
Pulsekin is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions made on the basis of information displayed in the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
